Hi Friends,
Instagram 'alt text' is here, and it's a huge deal. If you're not familiar, 'alt text' is short for 'alternative text,' meaning that if your photo doesn't load for any reason, you'll see this descriptive text instead. Alt text is also used for screen readers, which allows visually impaired users to access your content.

Alt text, or alternative text, is the actual description of an image on the internet.

All images on Instagram are automatically scanned and assigned an alt text based on what’s in the image. It’s not an exact science and there are a few bears that get called ‘hairy men,’ but you get it.
