I think rank is not be stay "stable" for website all the time. Our website rank may be change after one or Two weak after the google update of websites position. Our rank is increased or decreased by our Back-links. and the PR of website where we have back-links for our websites.

i think for ranking stability need more backlinks and regular update content.
