Both of them are different on reseller hosting you can get so many control panels to manage your website you can sell them, you can sell the hosting. But on shared hosting you get one control panel. SO I think reseller is better if you want to resale your hosting. But before uploading your website you should do  cross frame scripting to protect your website from attacks.

reseller hosting is suitable when you want to create individual account for selling to different user. The cost mainly at the whm control panel and multiple cpanel.

if not require it, why pay more right? i using shared hosting, and its seo well as well.
